The Institute for Hybrid Cultures (TIHC) structures its cultural R&D through long-term, compounding programmes rather than episodic events. Our work bridges the rigorous preservation of cultural heritage with contemporary, transnational production.

Currently, our core infrastructure is built across three primary nodes: The Archive, an evolving, evidence-based observatory mapping how living cultural systems are made and maintained; The Library, a mobile, relational knowledge infrastructure designed to anchor our research; and Sessions, a recurring programme experimenting with collective gathering and third-space theory. Alongside these core pillars, we facilitate public-facing hybrid production, directly collaborating with artists and researchers to activate spaces and provoke vital dialogue.
